Standby Generator - Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting, 11 & 12 Feb 2019
Standby generator is essential equipment, normally installed at any premise which acts as an alternative power source
supply in case the normal power supply (TNB) fails. Normally it is left unattended, and operates automatically during
the failure of normal power supply.
It is static equipment, usually reliable but unexpectedly may give problems if it is not being maintained using
appropriate procedures as required. It needs special attention in terms of close supervision, operations, testing,
maintenance and troubleshooting. Failure of the standby generator to operate when there is a power supply
interruption may disrupt the smooth operation of productions/industries/businesses.

The seminar is designed to provide fire safety professionals
with an insight into a range of current fire detection, alarm and suppression
systems being incorporated into fire safety systems designs of today’s building

your area. The industrial world uses electric motors to move solids, liquids, and gases. These electric motors could be
alternating current or direct current. The motors range from fractional horsepower to thousands of horsepower. For
the motors to be effective there has to be a way to. The whole purpose of this course is to show how motor speeds are
controlled.
A Practical Course in Air-Conditioning System Design,

The determination of the right size of cooling capacity for an air conditioning system is often estimated with “rule of
thumb” figures. This method of calculation will often result in inaccuracy or oversizing of the cooling system.
In this two-day training, participants will be taught on the fundamental principles of cooling load calculations and
hands-on practice of how to calculate more accurately for the right capacity to be installed. Complete design database
will be given which can be used for all future design of the air conditioning systems.
