(1) Each collectors should prepare themselves in mentally by understanding the clients as well. For this situation, the collectors should act as a financial advisor or be a good negotiator, even as a friend in order to establish good relationship with the clients.
(2) When a collector engages the clients to discussing the issue at hand, they must be able to speak in a professional manner. It shows the credibility of collector itself. The curiosity of collector to discuss about the other issue that can make the clients interest to speak for a long time with the collector. This way can help the collector to keep the consumers on the phone as well as differentiate themselves from other collectors when collecting debts from the clients.
(3) The collector must know what kind of questions that they have to ask to their clients when collecting debts from them. Easy to say that the collector should have their own expectations before calling their clients. For instance, follow up the clients from day to day by getting a time frame to settle the payment, what methods that they use when issue the payment, and also their consequences to pay for debts.
(4) By analyzing the consumer in a deeply, the collector will know what kind of approaches that they can use when collecting debts from the clients.
(5) Instead of analyzing the consumer, the collector can use another method to collect debts from the clients. By truly discovers what is important to the consumer can lead the consumer immediate desire to settle the debts.
(6) Establish a plan in order to get a specific time and place when collecting debts from the clients.
(7) Last but not least, the collector should have skills of how to commit and close the clients when collecting debts from them.
