How do I get my CAPM certification?



CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT (CAPM)

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® is a valuable entry-level certification for project practitioners. Designed for those with little or no project experience, the CAPM® demonstrates your understanding of the fundamental knowledge, terminology and processes of effective project management

Whether you’re a student but with a few years of work experience, new to project management, changing careers, or already serving as a subject matter expert in project teams, the CAPM® can get your career on the right path or take it to the next level.® 

To attend the CAPM exam, candidates must have a minimum "high school certificate" or equivalent, and any of the following:
1. At least 1,500 hours of professional working experience in a project team, OR
2. At least 23 contact hours of formal project management education (this course provides 28 hours of project management education)

The CAPM examination is taken separately and can be booked through Prometric test centres. It consist of 150 multiple choice answers, and to be completed within 3 hours.
