Comfori is organising a Buka Puasa event at Pusat
Jagaan Siti Nor Aini, an old folk’s home in Kajang, on the 1st
August 2012. Annually, Comfori organises Buka Puasa events in celebration of the Ramadhan month to share the
joy of giving to the less fortunate. The venue for the event this year, Pusat
Jagaan Siti Nor Aini is an old folk’s home housing 50 elderly males. Some of
the senior citizens living in this home are bedridden and are placed in the
home as a result of family abandonment by the family. Some of the items that
they are in dire need of are groceries, toiletries, household items, medicine
supplies and many more.
During the event, Comfori will be organising
activities to entertain the elderly and are planning to clean up the place in
preparation for the Raya festivities. The day will end with a Buka Puasa meal shared between Comfori
employees and the senior citizens.
