COURSE OVERVIEW:
This module is designed to provide information and
guides on training topics. It can increase the job-related
knowledge and skills of participants. This module will be
presented by a trainer who had gained experiences in
his career serving major industries for years. Through
sharing of knowledge and information between trainer
and participants, it will help to improve participants’
knowledge and capabilities. It also can enhance
participants’ confidence and helps perform particular
jobs efficiently. Interactions in classroom will provide
participants with equal opportunities to share and learn
new strategies and skills to do resolve specific issues
embedded in participants’ daily jobs. Participants get to
familiarize themselves with important terms, phrases
and tricky parts of topics. As this module is designed for
non-legal background participants, the content of
training module is easy to understand and absorb by
participants. Participants may learn quickly. Crucial
principles of contracts and to the extent of the
applicability of contract clauses, will be taught by
trainer through lectures and class discussions. Actual
cases that are used for group discussion can promote
critical thinking amongst participants. Participants will
align understanding on various types of contracts with
multiple strategies and approaches. Knowledge on real
issues can be used as part of risk management tools. It
is expected that this module will help participants’
understanding and awareness on the importance of this
subject matter and thus, participants would apply it in
order to boost up opportunities, integrity and
professionalism.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
Upon completion of the course, participants are
expected to:
2.1 To assist in better participants’ understanding
on issues and challenges relating to legal and
contract strategies; and,
2.2 To facilitate in the adoption of best approaches
by the participants in mitigating risks and
exposures relating to contracts/agreements;
and,
2.3 To promote the spirit of continuous
improvement through exchange of information
and knowledges amongst the group
